Magazine Storage…

When I began to scrapbook more than 10 years ago, I bought and hoarded every magazine I could get my hands on. I ate up every idea and looked through them all frequently. I was going to scrapbook every technique, bought every product advertised and scrapbook each layout because I thought I could. Boy, was I wrong! Not only did I not want to but who has the time. I quickly learned that my pictures dictated what paper, technique and layout I would use. That is not to say that I dont purchase magazines anymore. Quite the contrary I continue to purchase my Canadian magazines; Canadian Scrapbooker and alsways pick up Scrapbook and Cards when they are released. I love them both and am able to find something that I can use on my pages.

The difference between then and now is that I keep magazines to a minimum. The magazines get rotated as well. I have two magazine containers. Once I buy one, I go through the oldest magazine, find what intrigues me, clip it out, and then the magazine gets thrown out into recycling…

So nice how compact it all is now…Love this little technique of keeping my magazines streamlined!
